The conflict you analyze can be a movie or television show (live, not animated) or a conflict you witnessed or a conflict in which you participated.

You will write a 3-4 page final paper for this class. Near the end of the class you will analyze a conflict. The
conflict you analyze can be a movie or television show (live, not animated) or a conflict you witnessed or a
conflict in which you participated.
First, you will describe the conflict. You will provide a general background of the conflict that identifies the
people involved, their relationships to one and other, and primary issues around which the conflict is created.
Second, using the conflict as raw material, you will describe and analyze the conflict using pertinent material
from your reading. You will use the concepts and terminology that you have learned from your readings. When
you use a concept or term for the first time in your paper, you will define the concept and cite the source, before
using it to explain what is happening in the conflict you are analyzing.
Third, you will make recommendations for how the conflict could have been managed differently than what
occurred. You will explain your reasoning for the recommendations.
