The promotion strategy is important to Bayou General Medical Center in various ways. First, compared to other promotion strategies such as radio and TV adverts, print media are highly informative. The company can use a page of a print media to fully explain its features, and benefits among other information. This way consumers can gather as much information as possible from the ad. Second, although people have embraced digital technology, there still exists a population that relies on print media. Placing ads on the print will help in reaching this target market and influence them into seeking the services. For the strategy to be effective, it is important that creative content is utilized to capture the attention of the audience (Ashley & Tuten, 2015).
