For this Assignment, you will write a 4-6 page expository paper, not including title and reference pages, evaluating ethical, legal, and forensic issues in neuropsychology as they impact clinical practice.

Review the Case Study: Donna from Chapter 14 in your textbook. Specifically, focus on how Donna experienced a traumatic brain injury as a result of being hit by a drunk driver while riding her bicycle. Assume that following the injury, Donna requested a neuropsychological evaluation as part of a court case to seek damages for the injuries she sustained.

Include the following in your paper:

Apply specific principles from the American Psychological Association’s Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct to conducting a neuropsychological evaluation for forensic purposes. Be sure to include the following:
Include at least one principle from Section 2: Competence
Include at least three principles from Section 4: Privacy and Confidentiality
Include at least three principles from Section 9: Assessment
Relate court cases from your readings to factors that should be considered in conducting a neuropsychological evaluation of TBI for a court case.
Include at least two court cases that apply to conducting a neuropsychological evaluation and relate how the cases apply to the case study.
Use what you have learned regarding traumatic brain injury to discuss factors that might impact the court case from clinical, ethical, and legal perspectives.
Be sure to discuss how the ethical principles and legal cases specifically apply to traumatic brain injury.
Discuss the clinical signs and symptoms of traumatic brain injury.
