Language Learning Experiences

Complete your Module 6 Assignment by the end of Week 6.

Learning a new language is easy for some and difficult for others.

In this assignment, you will consider your own experiences, ideas conveyed in the literature, and findings resulting from discussions with peers to compose a 3- to 4-page paper (not including the title and references pages) on the assimilation of English language learners in a community. Follow the steps below to create your final product.

Step 1. Describe

Design a graphically appealing document (perhaps an infographic or a 3- to 4-slide PowerPoint poster – see the Learning Objects page for templates) that outlines the essential characteristics of CRT for an audience of first-year teachers or new corporate trainers. Incorporate information from Steps 1-2 into the presentation as appropriate.
